Most friends and workers in the 2×2 Church believe they are God’s only true children and that their church is God’s only true way—all others are false; in other words, they are exclusive.
While some deny a tenet of 2x2ism belief system is the Living Witness Doctrine (LWD) and is exclusive…yet their actions show they believe it.
This can be proven by asking 2x2s very specific questions. Such as…
- Would you take emblems in a church other than meetings? Or offer them to an outside Christian visiting your meeting?
- Why does someone who was baptized by a pastor of another church have to be re-baptized by a worker before they can participate in meetings?
- Does a person need to hear about and accept Christ through a worker to be saved? Are there any exceptions? If so, what is the name of some who were saved, but did not attend meetings?
- Would you (or anyone else) go to Heaven if you regularly attended or were a member of another church instead of the workers’ church when you die?
- If someone is truly seeking God with an honest heart, is it possible they will be led to another Christian church—that isn’t the workers’ church?
- Are there any preachers or pastors in the world, outside of the workers’ ministry, who are preaching and upholding the true gospel of Jesus Christ? Why do workers call other churches and preachers “false”?
- Do you believe it’s possible for someone to go to Heaven who previously professed in a worker’s gospel meeting and now attends and serves God heartily in another Christian church?
- Do you believe someone can be saved if they trust only in the Bible and Jesus Christ for teaching and salvation, and do not accept the workers’ concept and necessity of “the meetings in the home and the ministry without a home,” have no interest in attending meetings and die without changing their views on these things?
- Where will outside Christian spend their afterlife?
- Why are those who haven’t professed in a workers meeting called “unsaved”?
- Do you believe that those who leave meetings will go to a lost eternity (Hell)?
- Why do friends & workers grieve when some leave meetings and label them as having lost out, lost their revelation, their vision, their connection to God, and their place in His family?
- Must one believe that the workers’ church is God’s only true ministry and way to be saved?
